💡 The Big Idea
Practice work is for learning — mistakes there are fine! Only your summative assessments (end-of-unit tests, performance tasks) count toward your level. And if you didn't nail it the first time, your teacher reteaches, you practice more, and you get another shot to show your new learning.

Your placement is protected. The receiving school must place you in the same courses & programs you were in at GES — honors, advanced, AAPS. No holdbacks because of a different report card format.

GES records travel with you. Your Performance Report gives your new teacher more specific info than a letter grade ever could — they'll know exactly which skills you've mastered.

IEP/504 services continue. The Military Interstate Compact (MIC3) requires comparable services to continue at the new school until they re-evaluate. Your rights don't stop at the state line.
